Traffic fines...I'm tired of people winging about having to pay fines for speeding tickets. The RACV announced a proposal to increase the amount of demerit points and reduce the fines for speeding, I agree to increase the points lost but not to decreasing the fines. They say that it does not hurt the the wealthy, I say scale it to their income as a percentage equivalent to the percentage of the average wage as a reference point, based on the amount of the fine that the average wage earner must pay.

Then the do gooders started saying that it's not fair and professional drivers could lose their income etc etc bla bla bla.

Well it's simple, don't speed!!   Idea

Good day bad day

Post by Peacekeeper on Mon Feb 22, 2016 6:15 pm

Have suffered my first broken bone ever - stepped backwards and my foot slipped on a tree root, I fell flat on my back and hit my head. When I decided I was not dead I carefully got up, was sore all over but particularly my right side, Doctor diagnosed broken rib/s, 4-6 weeks to heal, worst thing is trying to get comfortable in bed Sick

Ouch, that's not good PK, broken ribs are very painful, so take it easy, and chew on pain killers, most of all get well soon. Hug
