A little bit late, but sending you all best wishes over the festive season, and health, happiness and prosperity in 2016. Let's hope for world peace and kindness!

(RB, had a delightful call from Uncle Luigi - you know him well).  He's such a character!

Well that's Christmas done and dusted for another year, my littlest grandies enjoyed their day, and that is what it is all about, family getting together and kiddies faces shining with the magic of Christmas. Santa's reindeers left carrot tops scattered all over the backyard in their haste to eat and keep on with their deliveries Lol

This Christmas seemed different this year some how to me, but it was good to be with the family.

I noticed this too.  There doesn't seem to be anywhere near the decorations in town like there used to be.  Some of our neighbours who usually put up lights etc didn't this year either.  Maybe people are are little deflated after this year's terror attacks etc.  All the more reason to be in the spirit, I reckon.

I believe that this attitude by the government on Political correctness to not "offend" certain members of the community has a lot to do with it.

Agree Bullant. PC has been taken to ridiculous heights.  I was called a wog all my life (my father was Hungarian).  Having a sense of humour and not taking things so seriously has been a benefit in my life.   Where would be if we couldn't laugh and enjoy a sense of the ridiculous:)

And you knew that being called a wog, was meant in and affectionate way Km, this used to be a part of our cultural sense of humour, and in no way was ever meant in a racist way.
