The problem with the death penalty today is that the facts are twisted, bent and sometimes exaggerated far beyond and far below the truth, leaving it almost impossible to apply the death penalty without the chance of an innocent person being wrongly convicted and sentenced. Serious man

You could still terminate germs like Julian Knight and those paedophiles that are living in luxury in their own little village in Ararat!

True. No doubt in those cases.

I am appalled at the huge rise in crime lately and so many seem to get a mere slap on the wrist, if there are little or no consequences to pay for crime those who are of that mindset will not stop just escalate. Its time that law and order became top priority for all politicians instead of just paying it lip service. Frustrated

Is this right?....Or is it wrong?

Philippines president-elect Rodrigo Duterte sparks street executions after public call to arms.

In a National address to the nation he said that he would give a medal to anyone who shot dead a drug dealer, and, already the bodies are starting to mount up. People are taking up arms to fulfil his requested task, even though he is only a president elect. Anarchy or justice? I will leave it to you to decide.

Anarchy! Many personal grudges could be settled this way and no proof would be required.

If people choose to flout the law it does not necessarily mean that the law can overlook the correct procedures in their prosecution.

Not saying drug dealers don't deserve to die for the death they peddle daily on our streets, just that it should not be taken out of the hands of our law enforcement services.

This is crazy, and it's typical of those backward Asian blood thirsty countries, as PK said anarchy. This breeds more anarchy.

Already much graft and corruption in those countries, can only see this leading to "pay back"
