Lethal Crimes On Society

Post by Rbjustme on Tue Nov 10, 2015 2:45 pm

Everyday we see it as society seems to evolve to become more violent than ever, how can we reverse this trend?

I was just reading in the Herald sun that the sister of the wife, Kim, said that it was likely more so about the struggle with her sister having had a brain injury from her car accident than financial pressures. She basically had been given a diagnosis of "only good for organ donation" but she actually made quite a good recovery. It mentioned how sometimes people with brain injuries cant show affection, and that Kim was really frustrated about not being able to do so many things, like pack lunch for her kids even. But she also said having seen them recently, it looked as though Kim was making improvements, just going back to her job and also not needing to sleep during the day.

I dunno, still in the back of my mind I don't find that good enough of an excuse to make the decision to take the lives of everyone away...those childrens futures, the potential for his wife to improve even more in time. It just isn't fair.

hanks for sharing this Boo, as it has gone rather quiet, the lady was extremely fortunate to have survived the car accident by all reports, but as you said, she was making remarkable progress considering the extent of her head injuries.

It's certainly not a reason or an excuse for anyone to take the lives of their family, if this was the reason for it. Unfortunately we will never know what was going on inside his head. Sad

All have been laid to rest now, family and friends can begin the healing process of this terrible tragedy, but there will be forever, questions within that these people ask themselves, and more than likely those questions will never be answered.

Their lives have been changed forever, and will no doubt at times, stop, think and wonder how those children would have grown up and been like as young adults.

RIP. Sad

And still situations such as this continue, and it will take more than gun control, as we are seeing more and more attacks on the innocent with knives, baseball bats, hammers, and anything else that the perpetrators can lay their hands on. It's a social problem, and how we change that is almost impossible.
