There's already a story in the Australian saying that Abbott is behind white anting Turnbull, which really annoyed me, we don't need these hypothetical stories of is it true or not, hell why don't they print what the know and is factual!! Reading that crap is like watching Days Of Our Lives!! a-Smile

Papers don't sell unless they have sensational headlines, it is all PR no matter what happens, the essential thing is to sell papers.

Well I reckon they have to much influence on politics in this country, and something, I don't know what, should be done about it! s-Smile

A strange decision Turnbull has made with the minister of defence, I thought that he was doing a rather good job, and he was reprepared to back Turnbull. This comment has nothing to do with gender either.

The latest policy on domestic violence is encouraging though.

I heard an interesting discussion on the radio this morning.  Andrew Bolt was having a go at Malcolm Turnbull, and questioning what he has achieved in five months as Prime Minister.  I don't particularly like Bolt, though it did give me food for thought.  I can't think of anything substantial, can anyone else?  I guess he must be focussing on new budget controls and trying to rein in the big deficit.

I quite admire Bolt as being a person who speaks his mind, and damn the consequences. But I think 5 months - and accepting that Parliament did not sit owing to the Christmas break - so in a short time one would hope he is concentrating on important stuff like the budget (and indeed would hope he is), and having face to face meetings with other heads of state before setting out their policies.

Agree.

I really think, in my opinion, that he is trying to stabilise the government in the eyes of all who vote, irrespective of who they vote for. We have had 3 prime ministers in as many years. You cannot legislate good policies without the confidence of the population, especially with the negative response from the media, which destroys the voting population's confidence in any government.

At the moment I think that he is just keeping the country ticking over, and trying to establish a solid political foundation, a consolidation period if you like. Just my thoughts.

Hi all,

Like most of us, I received a brochure, or as they labelled it, important information on the federal election. Well all good and well, but I felt like writing to them and asking....where are the politicians worth voting for??

Turnbull has no balls and was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and Shorten is like a kindergarten child, so , where does that leave us??? Up the creek in a barbed wire canoe without a paddle. The up and coming so called pollies are 25-30 year olds with radical views and no real leadership skills. (probably listen or watch the ABC far to much!

So, for the first time in my life, I really feel like making an informal vote. What do you think about it all?? Question Question
