A Tasmanian couple on the beach spotted something in the water, which seemed to be very unusual, it turned out to be a new species of a giant jelly fish, the biggest jelly fish ever found on earth. This story is amazing! Shock

This really make you wonder what else is out there, or is this a side effect of over fishing of our oceans, upsetting the ecology, radiation leaked into the ocean, or what. But a lot of strange things are starting to appear.

This story comes from National Geographic: Scientists have discovered a new species of a giant Tortoise in the Galapagos Islands, and this guy is huge. Apparently it hyphenates for long periods of time, so is rarely seen. Well worth the read if you are interested in nature. Thumbs up mate!

At last, someone is making an effort to eradicate the common Myna bird in Queensland. Yet another nasty critter introduced into Australia from Asia, causing havoc to our natural wildlife. I have seen them attacking an Acidna and stopped my car, run into the paddock and escorted the Acidna into the bush until it was safe.
