Ants, caterpillars and a parasites, all working together, this is amazing and has just been discovered in a forest in the Amazon. The caterpillar releases a solution when the ant pats it (see the clip on the link) which the ant loves, and the parasite (yellow pimple like things on the tree) the caterpillar feeds off to make the solution for the ants. In turn the ants protect the caterpillars from the wasps. The caterpillar later turns into a butterfly, increasable, and well worth a look.  Thumbs up mate!

Hmmm something similar happened in my back yard 2 weeks ago, wasps had built nests in strange places, like on the blind cord, and the string of a wind chime - yours truly snapped them from there and they fell onto the concrete where they split open to reveal green larvae inside, within 2 minutes ants had come from everywhere and set upon the larvae. So the ants protected me from the wasps Applause
