Well done IC, I have never been successful with growing a daphne plant, my neighbour has two and when she is away up north in the wintertime, I help her out by pruning it and placing the cuttings in a vase on my coffee table Very Happy

I have just planted some more spring onions, and some silverbeet - all in pots in my backyard, I am nearly finished the spring onions I planted last year, they have been wonderful in soups through winter and now in my home made potato salad - Yummy

I actually was thinking about a vegie garden. I'm jealous. Fresh home grown vegies are a real treat.

Fresh is best as they say IC.  We grow a lot of veges and herbs.  Have some fruit trees as well.  I poached about three kilos of peaches last weekend to freeze. They were looking a bit pale, so I added some red colouring (a tip I picked up from somewhere).  I was a little heavy handed though, and we now have peaches in Fifty Shades of Red!  Might be a new title for a book, methinks.   Very Happy

My silverbeet is going well, I used a different thing to plant it sold in Bunnings in a plastic shrink wrapped pack about the size of a couple of phone books, it is coconut fibre with nutrients added and it swells up when you add water - it really holds the moisture well, particularly with this hot weather. I top dressed the lime tree and the mint as well, and transplanted some zygo cactus into wall baskets, and all are doing well.
