Haha Big L. It looks nice! Im not that big of a fan of cottage cheese but its probably pretty well masked with the sweetness of the other ingredients.

PK would love your recipe for Worsty sauce when you have time.  Here's an easy beef dish which is delicious and easy.  Enjoy!

  • Place bolar blade or eye of silverside beef in a large oven bag

  • Add a tin of champignons (cut them in half) use half of the liquid

  • Add a packet of French onion soup mix (low salt)

  • Add a finely chopped red capsicum

  • Add a cup of reasonably good red wine (merlot or cab sav is best)

  • Give it a good mix and cook at 160 deg for about 2 hours or until very tender.

  • Don't forget to puncture a few holes in the top of the bag to let out steam

  • Serve with mashed pumpkin, beans and a spud in the jacket, topped with a dollop of sour cream.

Yes RB and Ghosty - all in the oven bag, and cook about 160 C for about 2 hours (more or less depending on the size of the beef).  Sorry, I forgot to mention the temp.  I hope you will try it, as it is budget friendly, and delish.. Smile

A tin of champignons??? I know our host site originates from France, but I had to "leap frog" to Google to find out what the hell "champignons" were Shock

Us uneducated people commonly know them as "Mushrooms"  Lol
