I agree PK - yet another example of huge taxpayers waste of money to feather the nests of shareholders and people, who at the end of the day I believe, couldn't give a rats about the bigger issue - the division between the rich and the poor.

....and I did not hear a thing mentioned about "fracking" in the news at all. Was it even discussed?

Probably not RB.  I'm no tree hugger, but I do respect that we need to look after our environment for future generations.  Fracking, as I understand it, would do a great deal of harm to sub structures of our planet.  But, I guess there will always be a need for coal (fuel).  I can't understand why our uranium is not mined.  It seems to me that if we do't mine it here under strict protocols, then some of the "superpowers" will gladly come and take it.  This worries me a lot.

There are huge sink hole appearing all around the world because of this, not to mention what the chemicals that they use do to the soil.

Is there a definite link to fracking, BA? It does seem that there is a lot of them lately, and from all corners of the globe too!

We will never militarise the Islands we have built in the South China sea they said. The now have deployed a surface to air missile system on one of the Islands. I do not and have never trusted the Chinese Government. Nup! Tirant!

The little boy is at it again, while the average North Korean struggles to find enough food to feed their families, this lunatic hold banquets and celebrates his provocative games by launching his fire crackers. Extra sanctions are being sought to impose upon him and his puppets, which will only make it worse for the innocent people in North Korea. This government in N.Korea has to be the most repressive in the world today. I watched a documentary about the people in the north of this country, and it was pitiful to see how families have to cope and do, just to eat.

Putin's Warning

Post by Rbjustme on Sat Jul 09, 2016 4:24 pm

This is a disturbing story from the Kremlin in the USSR. Putin has issued a warning to Journalists mind you, that we are heading down the path of a nuclear war. He blames NATO for the trend and the ballistic missile system being built in eastern Europe. It's a little concerning to hear any leader make statements such as this, especially from Putin as I believe he is a war monger and not quite right in the head.

The other concerning fact is if Trump should he become the next US president. What a mixture, but that is hypothetical. Is Putin fair dinkum or not, what are your thought?

I never heard anything about this, it has certainly been kept quite in the main stream media, that's for sure. Let's hope that it's a bluff tactic to try and stop the building of the ballistic missiles in Eastern Europe. Surely he can't be serious. Watch it!

Is this the type of USA government that we would like to see in today's climate of turmoil? Yet the people in the USA are supporting him at fever pitch, right or wrong, this transcript shows a lot of disrespect for all USA Muslim soldiers that have fallen fighting for America.
